Marcella Cousens

Marcella began her career as a solicitor at specialist dispute resolution firm Grimshaw & Co. Since then, Marcella has acted on a range of civil litigation matters.

Marcella has experience in undertaking large-scale discovery, preparing electronic casebooks and briefing expert witnesses. In 2022, Marcella appeared as junior counsel in a five month High Court trial. Marcella now applies her civil litigation experience to complex trust, estate and family disputes.

Marcella is a member of the Auckland Women Lawyers’ Association and the Family Law Section.
