Georgia Angus awarded first globally in STEP Advanced Certificate in Trust Disputes

Georgia Angus, a senior associate at Morris, has been awarded a 2020 STEP Excellence Award for the Advanced Certificate in Trust Disputes. The STEP Excellence Awards recognise the top-scoring student at distinction level in each exam globally. The Advanced Certificate in Trust Disputes covers a wide range of claims that can be brought in relation to trusts and trustees, building on Georgia’s expertise in this area.

All the winners of the 2020 STEP Excellence Awards can be viewed here. The 49 winners hail from all over the world, representing 16 countries, including Canada, Cayman Islands, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, Switzerland, the UK and the US.

STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) is now in its 30th year. STEP is a global organisation with 22,000 members across more than 100 countries. Georgia is a full member of STEP, which is the highest level of membership, representing the most senior practitioners in the trust and estates industry.
